Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to print my invitations?

After approval of your proofs, allow about 7-10 working days for printing. Extra time may be required for special papers or some customization options.

Do you rush orders?

Yes. Typically, your invitation order is printed within 2-4 weeks after your final proof. If you need your invitations printed in less than two weeks after final proof, rush service is available for a 25% upcharge plus any expedited shipping costs for any customization item such as colored envelopes, pocket folders, etc.

Envelopes may also be printed ahead of the rest of your invitation order and shipped separately. An additional charge of $100 plus shipping will be added to your invoice.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we ship to any country by USPS, UPS, FedEx or the carrier of your choice. Please be aware the printing cost and any shipping costs quoted by Invitations by Ajalon do not include any customs duties. Customs duties are the responsibility of the recipient, and are based on the value of your invitation order. Orders are shipped and insured for the full replacement value. We advise you to check with your local customs authority to determine the amount of duties for your invitation shipment.

Do you offer foil wedding invitations?

Yes we do. There is almost nothing that looks as beautiful as custom foil stamping on a letterpress wedding invitation. Click here to view our foil invitation pricing.

How many invitations should I order?

Be sure to finalize your guest list before ordering your invitations, and order extra to allow for last-minute additions to your list. It's much less expensive to order additional invitations on your initial order than to pay for a second press run.

Why are your letterpress prices lower than other printers?

We're a commercial letterpress printer (printing is not a hobby we do in our garage), and have developed production efficiencies that allow us to print for a lower price. We appreciate the challenge it can be to stay within a wedding budget, so we're happy to pass the savings along to you.

What print methods do you offer?

To give brides the most flexibility for their wedding invitation set, we offer three printing methods:

  • Letterpress gives you the option of using a wide range of paper, including handmade, organic and tree free. The classic feel and finish of letterpress papers take us back to an era of quality and craftsmanship that is not often found today. You actually see and feel the impression of the type into the paper. Letterpress offers you great depth and beauty to your invitation. When your guest receives a letterpressed invitation, it's more like their receiving a gift from you, rather than just receiving your invitation.
  • Lithography/Offset is a common and affordable printing method. Lithography is simply flat, offset printing that is neither impressed nor raised.
  • Digital printing is becoming a very popular method to print large or small quantities of wedding invitations for a very reasonable cost. Some brides use a combination of print methods, such as using letterpress for their invitation and digital for their RSVP, menu, or other items.
