Top 10 Wedding Trends
1. Letterpressed Invitations
A big trend this year is letterpress wedding invitation sets. The papers used for letterpress printing are lush and elegant. Letterpressed pieces are beautiful and classic and make a lasting impression – both in paper and in your guests’ minds. (The art of letterpress printing goes back to times before computers were even invented – which just makes the style that much more cool anyway.)

2. Vibrant Colors
Gone are the days of classic black and white. Nowadays, vibrant color is starting to show in unexpected places – wedding gowns, groom’s tuxedos, and decorations. Using color in wedding invitation sets is really popular right now, especially coordinating the colors in your invitations to match the rest of your wedding. Let us know what colors you are using in your wedding, and we will show you how to make them work in your invitation set.
3. Personal and Whimsical Touches
Adding your own touches to your invitations is a great way to show your personality and style. If you have a particular design or piece of custom art you like, you can use that on your wedding invitations. Or, if you don’t already have something made, but have an idea of what you would like, our team of designers can work with you to create that special piece of custom artwork.
4. Metallic
Foiling is an attractive, and trendy, way to accent type on invitations. And there are so many color choices to work with. There are the classic gold, silver, and copper colors, as well as other less-traditional colors.
5. Hot Colors
The two hottest wedding colors right now are chocolate brown and a rich orange, though I wouldn’t necessarily suggest using them together. Chocolate brown and a dusty pink, robin egg blue, or teal printed on creme would be dazzling. Rich orange really stands out with a dark citron, lemon, or lavender. Of course, the colors I mentioned above are just examples of some possible combinations, and our team can help you pick out the perfect colors for your needs.
6. Monograms & Logos
Adding a monogram or logo created especially for a new couple is a great finishing touch for any printed piece. The possibilities are endless when it comes to the design of your monogram or logo, and what you do with it after it is created. Creation is just the first step. We would be happy to provide your monogram or logo to you in digital format for future use.

7. Eco-Friendly
Being as kind to the environment as possible is something that has been growing increasingly more important over the years. Wedding invitations can be eco-friendly too! We use 100# Cotton, tree-free and recycled paper, as well as vegetable based inks. If you are concerned about the environment, we are here to help.
8. Coordinating Pieces (Save the Dates, Wedding Programs, etc.)
Maybe coordinated invitation sets aren’t a new trend, but they are a popular one. Invitation sets can contain as many, or as few, elements as you want and/or need. A standard, very basic, wedding invitation set includes an invitation, an invitation envelope, an RSVP card, and an RSVP envelope. Many people choose to also include save the date cards, place cards, and thank you cards as well. Some sets even include accommodation cards, map cards, escort cards, and even bridal shower invitations! We can help you design a beautifully coordinated set – carrying a theme, color or design throughout.
9. Crystals & Embellishments
Brides everywhere are adding glamour to their invitations by using Swarovski crystals or rhinestone buckles on their wedding invitation sets. Many also use lined envelopes. More costly embellishments like sand dollars and starfish can take an invitation from impressive to extraordinary. Some crystals and embellishments, depending on size, quantity, and placement can still be mailed in an inner/outer envelope set, others need to be mailed in small boxes to your guests. You can designate your invitations as “non-machinable” and ask the post office to “hand cancel” the envelopes to help cut down on the impact their system has on sensitive mailing materials. We can discuss your options to help you find the perfect way to glamorize your invitation set.

10. Destination Wedding Themes
Locations such as Hawaii, Miami, and the like, are quickly becoming the place to be, when it comes to weddings. In fact, we’re located in the middle of the Sonoma County Wine Country, one of the nation’s most popular wedding destinations.
Even if you can’t afford to have your wedding in a “destination location,” you can still have a destination-themed wedding invitation set. We have a selection of destination-themed sets to choose from, or we can help you create your own.
