Proper Protocol For Sending Letterpress Wedding Invitation
When it comes time to actually sending your letterpress wedding invitations to your guests, even I get confused on the proper etiquette. Let’s face it, American households are a diverse mix of unconventional family styles and combinations that never existed before. Trying to figure out who to send your letterpress wedding invitations to and what the proper etiquette is in relation to different family living situations is a difficult task.
I thought I would give you a short and simple list of who should receive an invitation:
- A husband and wife that are living together get one wedding invitation
- A couple living together get one wedding invitation
- Adult children living with their parents should each receive their own wedding invitation
- Children under 18 living with their parents do not receive their own wedding invitation
- Adult roommates each get their own wedding invitations
Hopefully this cleared up some of the confusion, but if you have any questions about who you should or should not send your letterpress wedding invitations to, please do not hesitate to ask.
