One of the best parts about blogging about letterpress wedding invitation designs is I get to see some of the most amazing wedding invitation ideas around. Recently when searching for fun wedding invitation idea and themes, I stumbled upon a site that had five of the most unique wedding invitation ideas I had ever seen.

While these are not letterpress wedding invitations, they remind me of how important custom, personalized and unique wedding invitation ideas really are. If you are a bride that loves to be creative, consider integrating a funny theme or your favorite movie into your wedding invitation design.

This full color wedding invitation mimics a movie poster, and follows the trend of adding an image of the bride and groom into the wedding invitation design.

Taking part of their vows to the visual extreme, this couple made a custom wedding invitation with a ‘haunting’ theme.

Somewhere between a computer and a wedding invitation, this custom wedding invitation design almost fools the reader into thinking they are holding the world’s lightest laptop.

While most brides would probably prefer to insert their best photo into their wedding invitation, this couple’s ruffled look fits the profile.

This custom wedding invitation tells the long version of true love’s story. Though this couple may have added a few more details than necessary, I admire their unique sense of style.
