Themed Letterpress Wedding Invitations for Unique Couples
I was recently surfing around the online wedding invitation arena when I stumbled upon a really adorable story. A couple from Wales decided to take their wedding theme to the next level. Recreating their favorite movie (the movie they saw on their first date), Vivian and Tracey Williams dressed themselves in costumes and body paint so that they would resemble Fiona and Shrek from the Shrek movies.

This is quite possibly one of the most unique wedding themes I have ever heard of. The bride’s father and mother dressed up as Lord Farquaad and the Fairy Godmother, while the maid of honor resembled Snow White. Just in time for Shrek 4 to arrive on the big screen, this wedding theme was one for the record books.
While wedding themes are becoming more popular at home and abroad, it is important to think about the letterpress wedding invitations that can properly herald the good news. Finding or creating an elegant, custom letterpress wedding invitation design that fits your unique wedding theme should not be a difficult task.
All you have to do is ask.
After ordering her custom letterpress wedding invitation design, Sindhu said:
“”The invitations came out AMAZING, a million times more beautiful than I ever have imagined them. The colors all turned out to be a perfect match and the gold foil is absolutely stunning. I am speechless.”

Wedding Invitation Ideas for Destination Celebrations
A growing trend for summer and fall brides is picking a gorgeous destination wedding location. Many of these same brides are trying to find interesting and innovative ways to incorporate their destination wedding location and theme into their letterpress wedding invitation design. This is a great idea, mixing the location and wedding invitation styles is a great way to not only announce the destination, but impress your guests too.
When thinking about combining your destination wedding location with your letterpress wedding invitation design, there are a couple important things to keep in mind.
Pick a Color You Like

Regardless of well it seems to fit, if you do not like the color that your invitations will be then forget it. First pick a color that works for you, then try to match that with your destination location.
Think about Add-ons
A great way to spice up your destination wedding invitation is to include some add-ons that represent the location or theme of your wedding. Different colored ribbons, sea shells, snowflakes or colorful leaves, whatever the location make sure to put a little bit of that flavor into your letterpress wedding invitation design.
Remember the Season

If you are planning a winter wedding in Aspen, chances are you will be saying “I Do” in knee-deep snow. Don’t forget that no matter where you are going to hold your ceremony, the seasons change. The time of year you are getting married should be represented on your invitation style.
Don’t Forget the Envelopes
Envelopes are an important part of setting the stage for a destination wedding invitation. Have fun when designing them and do not be afraid to think outside the box. Decorations, colored ink or stamps (the non postage kind) or fun pictures can all be added to increase the destination thrill. But make sure to consult your local post office before creating 100+ of them, you never know what they won’t send these days.

After searching around the net for all the latest fall wedding trends and fashionable affairs, I came up with a list of 4 of the most interesting modern wedding ideas:
Desert The Old Dessert
Fall brides are stepping away from the multi-tiered wedding cakes of the past and moving toward a more personal, friendly desert selection. Many brides are choosing wedding cupcakes instead of cake, or small heart shaped fudge brownies. Whatever your favorite desert is, do not hesitate to serve it.

Letterpress Wedding Invitations
It is no surprise that brides that want to distinguish themselves are still seeking out letterpress wedding invitation designs. The unique aesthetic quality and personalized feeling that letterpress provides is impossible to match with any other printing method. If you want to make a strong and creative first impression on your wedding guests, then letterpress wedding invitations are a must have.

Wedding Invitations Cards with Hindu Inspiration
There is nothing I like more than new Indian style letterpress wedding invitation card designs. Over the past couple months we have been hard at working preparing for the upcoming wedding season. Including letterpress printing, hot foil stamping, blind impressions and many different colors of ink and paper, these 4 new Indian themed designs are the latest additions to our ever growing wedding invitation gallery.
Our Rana 1 Indian wedding card design combines a fun traditional pattern with a unique baronial motif. It is an elegant invitation letterpress wedding invitation card design that is appropriate for any event.

My favorite letterpress wedding invitation card design of all time, Sindhu combines the elegance of gold foil stamping with an almost magical paisley pattern. This Hindu inspired wedding invitation card includes some of the most delicate and intricate printing techniques I have ever seen.

Speaking of paisley patterns, our new Devi wedding invitation card integrates a beautiful blind letterpress impression with a tint varnish that subtly highlights its curves.

If different colors are what you are looking for, then consider our Indian inspired Avani wedding invitation card design. Available either letterpress printed or foil stamped, Avani looks amazing with any color paper.

No matter what you are looking for, we have the wedding invitation card design solution. Our helpful staff and design professionals can mix and match colors, papers, designs and themes to ensure that your invitation is a product of your inspiration.

Recently I have been scouring the bride-o-sphere trying to find the latest wedding invitation trends for the fall 2010 wedding season so that I can share that information with all of you brides to be. I have been looking through catalogues, magazines, blogs and websites trying to find the best new ideas that brides are looking for and printers are offering. After searching through everything from elegant, tropical, photo, destination and autumn themed wedding invitations, I have summarized the 5 fall wedding trends that no bride should be without.
Letterpress Printing
As expected, letterpress wedding invitation designs are still a huge hit for the fall wedding season. Their bold impressions and unique invitation styles are still held in high regards among chic brides.

Discounts and Specials
Some printers are offering and many brides are requesting special pricing on their wedding invitation orders. If you are a bride on a budget this fall season, make sure to ask any printers that you are considering working with if they have any type of discounts on wedding invitation sets.
Art Deco Themes
Flash from the past, retro American styled art deco designs for wedding invitation packages are on the rise. Brides are loving the vintage themed art deco wedding invitations that harken back to the era of 30’s style décor.

Go Multi Cultural
Most marriages in America include some sort of multi cultural or ethnic mixing and brides are not afraid to show that in their wedding invitation designs. For your fall wedding, think about including some elements of your or your husband-to-be’s heritage in your wedding invitation set.

Forget about Tradition
Brides in fall 2010 are moving past old traditions and establishing their own norms. Conventional wedding invitation styles are forgotten as new, innovative, formal and fun invitation designs are coming into the mainstream.
