Multilingual Messages are the Way to Go!

Lets face it brides, 21st century families are very diverse. That is why when it comes to your wedding, choosing bilingual letterpress wedding invitations design is an important first step in the wedding planning process. Bilingual wedding invitations designs, be they printed with letterpress, digital or offset, ensure that all of your wedding guests are granted an equal opportunity to be excited and informed of your wedding ceremony details.

For brides with families or wedding guests that predominately speak or read a language other than English (Spanish, Hindi, Vietnamese, Italian etc.) it is important to provide a bilingual wedding invitation so that everyone gets a chance to learn about the good news.

There are two different ways to make a bilingual wedding invitation.

The most common way to make a bilingual wedding invitation is to print one invite card with both languages on it. This way everyone gets the same material and you do not have the chances of mixing up one invitation with the other.

The second way is to print two different wedding invitations, each in their respective languages. Then you decide which guests should receive what languages and you address and stuff you envelopes accordingly.

Whatever way you decide to print your wedding invitations, make sure think about your guest’s needs. If a bilingual wedding invitation is the only way some of your guests will be able to read your exciting announcement, then I strongly urge you to consider these options.

It’s a very smart idea and a way to respect both families. Ive seen some brides on weddingbee with Chinese and English on their invitations, and it looks very beautiful! :)
